Leslie Ann's Story...

Leslie Ann is passionate and very excited to begin offering therapeutic services to the clients of Recovered and Restored. Leslie Ann is a graduate of Villanova University in Villanova Pennsylvania. She received her master's in Counseling program specializing in Clinical Mental Health.  She also received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Penn State University where her interest in treating clients with eating disorders began. Leslie Ann has extensive experience and is coming to us from a position working in a partial hospitalization facility.  Leslie Ann blends cognitive behavioral techniques along with relational understanding and her signature warmth.


Leslie Ann believes that every single person has the strength within themselves to heal and grow! It is her goal to foster a safe, brave, open, and caring space where her clients can do just that. She is passionate about helping teens and women discover freedom from disordered eating, anxiety, and other mood disorders, and explore how to live their lives to the fullest.
 
In her spare time, Leslie Ann enjoys walking and hiking with her mini golden doodle, Nova. She also enjoys watching movies and television shows with family and friends, with her favorite genres being fantasy and adventure. She loves theater as well and hopes to try out for community productions in the future. Additionally, Leslie Ann is an avid collector of high-heeled shoes!

Leslie Ann’s fees start at $150/session She has some sliding scale options available.

Leslie Ann can see clients from PA, NJ, CT,  VT, MD, DE, SC, and FL! Leslie Ann currently has day and evening availability!

It’s that time of year again. As the air grows cooler and the days shorter, it’s time to wake up far too early, sling our heavy backpacks over our shoulders, and board the bus. It’s mid-September, so by now there may be some semblance of a routine beginning to form. Maybe you’re getting excited for football games, the fall play, or the homecoming dance. Or maybe, just maybe, you’re dreading everything having to do with school.

Back-to-school can mean something totally different for the student dealing with an eating disorder. Attending school is a time to be social, play sports, and learn new things. For a student with an eating disorder, however, it can mean a minefield of issues. Continue Reading.

My name is Leslie Ann Glossner, and I am delighted and excited to be joining the Recovered and Restored team as one of the eating disorder therapists. At Recovered and Restored, I have the privilege of working with clients who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, OCD, and anxiety.  Those who are ready to take the steps to work through them! I get to collaborate with a team of brilliant women who are passionate about recovery and use our collective expertise to aid our clients in the healing process.
